Super Savings Saturday: Cheap Chicken!

This week I reviewed last month's grocery spending and I was $14 under budget, and that was even with a $30/week goal (which includes the newspaper, toiletries, and most household supplies).  I was pretty happy to have that money left over to use today.  Lance's New Market is having a great sale today and tomorrow on their boneless skinless chicken breast.

In the end I also picked up some bananas for the typical $.59/lb.  My total before sales and coupons would have been a ridiculous $70.92!  After sales and coupons, it only cost me $22.48.  Not bad considering I bought close to ten pounds of high quality meat!
